@wirefly Thanks, I looked at boost, but their only plan for android is 55 bucks and I was looking for something around 30 and 40 because I don’t want to waste much money. Thanks for everything Bob, got all I needed :)

@waldirguerra33 The HTC Wildfire on Virgin Mobile is better than the other phones on your list, in my opinion. If you’re thinking about Virgin Mobile, Boost should also be on your list… they both use Sprint’s network. On Boost, the Samsung Transform Ultra and Motorola Triumph are good phones. Boost will have the ZTE Warp soon, and that’s a decent choice as well.

@wirefly Yes, the exhibit ll is offered for pre-paid but I want to get something around $100-200 since im new to android. I’ll try seeing some reviews of the exhibit ll and the mytouch; and if they dont work out, would you recommend the htc wildfire from virgin mobile?

  4. wirefly says:

@bigwil311 The Wildfire S is probably a little better than the Optimus-T. I would go with the Wildfire S.

  5. wirefly says:

@waldirguerra33 To be honest, I’m not crazy about any of those. Is the Samsung Exhibit II offered for pre-paid? That’s a good phone, as is the myTouch by LG. I really don’t have any strong feelings about the phones on your list.

Is this better than the HTC wildfire S?

Hey Bob, I want to get an android phone from the t-mobile prepaid service. Which phone should I go with? Samsung Dart,T-Mobile Comet,Optimus T, or the Samsung Gravity Smart?

  8. wirefly says:

@darkchoosen123456 That’s only partly true. Using WiFi *saves* your data budget, but my understanding is that using WiFi calling will still use your talk minutes.

In other words, if you surf the Web using WiFi, you will not use up your data plan. However, making phone calls with WiFi can use up your phone call minutes. That’s what I understand, anyway.

  9. darkchoosen123456 says:

@wirefly Also, i heard that if you use Wi-Fi, it wastes your minutes. Is that true?

  10. darkchoosen123456 says:

@wirefly Hi, thanks for replying, I will try this tomorrow when i get the phone, I ordered it on saturday and it will arriving tomorow. :)

  11. wirefly says:

@darkchoosen123456 Have you tried your SIM in the Optimus T? If so, what happened? I assume that you can make phones calls and send/receive texts, but can’t get on the Internet using T-Mobile’s network. However, I don’t know for sure what will happen. You can always get on the Internet using WiFi.

I’m curious to know if your phone will work with your SIM, so let us know.

@wirefly QUESTION: Okay so i had the Gravity T from t-mobile and it got messed up and since im paying the guarantee, they replaced it without a problem, they sent me the this phone instead of the Gravity T because they don’t make the Gravity T anymore, I have the 1500 minutes and unlimited messages plan but no internet plan. Will this phone be able to operate without internet plan? I do have unlimited txt messages. Please reply ASAP as i need answers. Thank you :)

@SwaggerKid135 I think the myTouch 3G is probably better, although I don’t have any real experience with it. Better still is the new myTouch by LG or the Samsung Exhibit (or Exhibit II).

  21. supererika777 says:

@wirefly oh. shit. oh well. i love the phone.

  22. wirefly says:

@supererika777 Not sure what your mom was talking about, because the Optimus T is an Android phone and it requires a data plan. You can always use it with WiFi and do almost anything, although I don’t remember if the Optimus T has WiFi calling. And you’ll still need a SIM for WiFi calling, I think.

    Bob at Wirefly

  23. supererika777 says:

so i just got this phone yesterday. my mom didnt want to pay for any fancy internet and im okay with that.., but are there any things that i can go onto without it charging extra?

  24. wirefly says:
